Welcome to the Black History Live Project

The Black History Live project was established by Medway African and Caribbean Association (MACA) and is funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund.

MACA has established a project steering committee to assist with the development, implementation and quality assurance of the project.

 

The members of the board include:

University for the Creative Arts
University of Kent
Kent County Council

Project Management

The steering committee are made up of supporting partner organisations, who are able to offer contributions to the project, be it financial, non-financial, advice, and guidance.

The members of the steering committee, are made up of individuals who share an interest in or who are supportive of the aims of the project, and can offer a contribution to the overall development, implementation, and monitoring of the project.

The steering group is responsible for monitoring the budget, the outcomes for the project and providing reports back to funding bodies.

All members take an active role in the meetings, and occasionally outside of project meetings, in the furtherance of the project aims.
